The ESL Ministry will be offering FREE classes every Wednesday. Our mission is to assist adults from other countries who want to learn or improve their English speaking ability. We offer four levels of classes, from beginners to advanced, to meet the specific needs of each student. Interested in Volunteering?
As we kick-off our 18th year of ministry this fall, we are always seeking new volunteers. You do not need to speak a foreign language or even be an experienced school teacher. We are looking for people who have a passion to help others. Please prayerfully consider if God is calling you to join this ministry.
The following opportunities are available:
Teacher
The Lead Teacher is responsible for preparing and teaching the lesson each week. Time commitment is 5:45 PM to 7:30 PM each Wednesday throughout the school year (September thru May). Training is provided and required for this position.
Assistant Teacher
The Assistant Teacher will assist the Lead Teacher throughout the lesson as well as the students during class time each week. Time commitment is 5:45 PM to 7:30 PM each Wednesday throughout the school year (September thru May).
