First Impressions

If you’re looking for a place to serve, our First Impressions team is great place to start. There are five different teams that make up First Impressions. We offer training for all teams but require experience for our medical team. All teams are assigned for each service time and expected to report for duty 15 minutes before scheduled time. You will be assigned to only one service time. Teams are also asked to assist for special events.

Greeters/Guest Relations

A warm smile and a welcoming “hello” are a must for this team. Greeters assist by providing information about Worship Services, location of Campus Life Groups, restrooms and children and student ministries.

Ushers hand out our weekly bulletin as guests enter the Worship Center. They also assist guests with finding seats, receive the offering, count attendance and pick up bulletins and other items items that need to be discarded after the Worship service. Ushers may also be asked to assist in serving the Lord’s Supper if needed.

Parking Lot Assistance

The Parking Lot Team provides the very first welcome to guests arriving to our campus. This team assists with helping guests find available parking, give rides in the golf cart to their destination when needed, and maintaining a presence during and after service times.

Medical Team

Our Medical Team assists with both minor medical situations and major medical emergencies. In the event of a medical emergency, the Medical Team will assess  the patient, begin onsite treatment and assist with calling for further medical attention. Once medical personnel arrives, the team will communicate their assessment and treatment. Medical Background is a must for consideration on this team.

The Security Team is tasked with keeping our guests safe while on our campus. This team also works side by side with the Children’s Ministry by providing a presence at the entrance to the children’s hallway, as well as accompanying classes that are utilizing the playground. Law Enforcement or security background is preferred but not mandatory as training is provided when needed. Must complete a background check.

Care Ministry

The Care Ministry is led by our Deacons and is focused on meeting the needs of our members in the following ways: hospital visitation, visiting our homebound members, providing rides for members unable to drive, checking on our widows and widowers, and other needs as they arise. If you are interested in serving along with our Deacons, please sign up below.

Follow Up Team

Interested in being a part of our Follow Up Team? This team is responsible for making contact with first time guests and making their visit a pleasant experience. As part of this team, you are asked to make sure that first time guests are introduced to our Guest Relations Team as well as making follow up phone calls, sending letters and making home visits.
